How to cope with stress

Hello and welcome to my blog page! Today I am talking about Stress because it seems that we are all experiencing this and it's affecting the quality of life.

If you were asked on a scale of 1-10 one being totally relaxed and fine and ten is feeling high levels of stress, where would you be on the scale? Are you stressed?

When we are in stressful situations, what exactly are we feeling? What is stress?


Stress is our body's reaction to any challenge or demand when we feel threatened our body defenses alert us to danger and it's this response that takes us into, what's called fight or flight mode. This can be triggered by a thought, being under pressure, worrying about something, feeling overwhelmed, or going through a period of uncertainty.

It's those personal situations when things happen in our lives, like losing a loved one, for obvious reasons this will affect us, shake our foundation, and high up there are financial issues. Paying the bills, trying to make ends meet can really affect us, the pressure at work, deadlines, maybe taking exams or moving
